called Tali.
Tala
A
time cycle of definite number of equi-distant
is called a Tala. This cyclic Tala conception
is typically Indian. Combination of Tali
and Khali and expectation to come to the
SAM again and again makes a Tala most interesting
in reaching the listeners maximum satisfaction.
Tihai
Any
three time repetition of a phrase of percussion
instruments, or any instrumental music or
vocal music which is ending on the SAM (the
first beat) with complete satisfaction of
both the artistes and the listeners is Tihai
