Continuing Education

Regular Classes

These are intermediate-to-advanced level classes taken in small groups. The level of accomplishment among students in these classes is typically high and the classes can be thought of as a ‘finishing school’ for those who wish to take their skills to the next level.

1. These classes are intended for students between 15 and 45 years of age.
2. Students between 15 and 25 will have to attend an audition test.
3. Students between 26 and 45 must have achieved at least a B-Level classification from All India Radio or have had one Cassette or CD published by a reputed recording company, such as HMV/Saregama, Music Today, Magnasound, T-Series, Sagarika, etc. Shrutinandan reserves the right to turn down applicants who meet these requirements.

Students above 45 years of age may join separate classes for enrichment of their general music skills at Shrutinandan’s discretion; however individual attention cannot be given to persons joining such classes.

One-on-one Classes

One-on-One classes are reserved for those who are at a very high level of accomplishment and seek continuous education, inspiration and experimentation in new forms and styles of music. These highly personalized classes, many under Pandit Chakrabarty personally, give new insights to the already accomplished artistes and professionals who take them.

1. There is no age limit for these classes.
2. Students must have achieved an A-Level classification from All India Radio or have had at least two Cassettes or CDs published by a reputed recording company, such as HMV/Saregama, Music Today, Magnasound, T-Series, Sagarika, etc. Shrutinandan reserves the right to turn down applicants who meet these requirements.
